What is the IP protection level for industrial teleohone

IP (international protection) is a special industrial protection class, which classifies electrical appliances according to their properties of preventing entry of foreign objects, dust and moisture.

IP protection level is composed of two numbers, the first number indicates the level of electrical dustproof, to prevent the invasion of foreign objects, the second number indicates the degree of electrical moisture, waterproof, the greater the number indicates the higher the level of protection. The two marked numbers indicate the following levels of protection:

Dust protection rating (the first number indicates):

0: no protection.

1: Prevent solid foreign bodies with diameters not less than 50mm.

2: Prevent solid foreign bodies with diameters no less than 12.5mm.

3: Prevent solid foreign bodies with diameters greater than 2.5mm

4: Prevent solid foreign bodies with diameters no less than 1.0mm.

5: Dust proof. The dust cannot be completely prevented from entering the device. However, the amount of dust entering the device must not affect the normal running or safety of the device.

6: Dense dust. No dust enters.

Waterproof rating (second number):

0: No protection

1. Prevent vertical dripping. Vertical drops should have no harmful effects

2. Prevent water dripping vertically when the housing is tilted at 15°. When each vertical plane of the housing is tilted at 15°, the vertical rain shall have no harmful effect.

3: Anti rain when the housing vertical plane in the range of 60° rain, no harmful effect.

4: Splash proof. Splashing the housing in all directions has no harmful effect.

5: Water repellent. Spraying water in all directions to the enclosure has no harmful effect.

6: Prevent strong water spraying. Spraying water strongly in all directions to the housing has no harmful effect.

7: Prevent the effect of short time immersion. Immersed in the specified pressure of water after the specified time housing water will not reach harmful effects.

8: Prevent the impact of continuous flooding. In accordance with the conditions agreed by the manufacturer and the user after continuous diving, the intake of water into the housing will not reach harmful levels.

Meaning of IP65 protection grade: completely dust-proof, spray water to all directions of the housing has no harmful effect.

Meaning of IP66 protection grade: completely dust-proof, strong spray water to all directions of the housing has no harmful effect.
