Video phone is a communication method achieve real-time transmission of caller's voice and picture(user's bust,picture and things) by telephone line.

It is composed by telephone,camera device,television receiving and displaying equipment and controller.Video telephone's main function is still communication,the function of camera device is to picture one's image to transmit to other side.And a television receiving and displaying equipment is to receive the pictures from other side and display it on the screen.

Video telephone is a simple computer with a camera and display screen.The work process is nearly the same as computer connecting the Internet.Firstly,it will pack digital pictures together  which are from camera.Then it will transmit the data to another telephone and the other telephone receives unzips and displays the pictures.Every video telephone has an independent public IP address.LAN network is currently unavailable as for the limit of telephone's function.But we believe the video telephone will have a prosperous future as for the development of electronic technique.
